WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM) -- Christmas came early this year for families who live near Lee Middle and High School in Wyoming as Santa's helpers dropped off roughly 1,800 bikes to unsuspecting children between the ages of three to 16.
The annual Elves & More event appeared Saturday morning not from Santa's sleigh but in semi-trucks filled with donations, which also included helmets and treasure bags full of toys.
The organization aims to bring hope to children through bikes it has collected through the year. More than 300 volunteers were on hand to tailor each ride to the specific child's needs during this 11th annual giveaway.
Neighbors told WZZM 13 they felt blessed and humbled by these gifts and will pay-it-forward this holiday season by spreading cheer and gratitude.
